Herne Bay Senior Citizens Club raises funds for East Kent Mind
A huge thank you to Greenhill Senior Citizens Club in Herne Bay who helped to raise £500 to support the work of East Kent Mind.
The Club, based at Funnell House in Herne Bay, is owned and run by the members to provide facilities and companionship to help combat loneliness. It was formed in 1964 and is a friendly club for the over 50s.
The members of the club organised a range of social events and games nights to help raise the money for East Kent Mind.

Simon Dolby, Development Lead for East Kent Mind, said: “We are delighted that the members of Greenhill Senior Citizens Club decided to choose East Kent Mind as their charity to support. The money raised will go towards improving the mental health of our community in Herne Bay.”
