Financial Wellbeing
Improve your financial resilience
Your financial wellbeing and your mental health are closely linked. In surveys 81% of East Kent Mind clients cited that money worries affected their mental health. To assist, East Kent Mind has teamed up with a number of local groups led by the Canterbury Society to form Action on Poverty.
Through this collaboration we are able to provide details of how and where clients can review and claim benefits they may be owed – whether these be through a council tax reduction or additional pension tax credit.
In addition, East Kent Mind can offer face-to-face MoneySkills courses and online Money Management courses to teach budgeting skills and help you better understand how money affects your mental wellbeing.
