Have you reached pension age and need care for a disability or illness? You could qualify for Attendance Allowance
If you’ve reached state pension age and need care for an illness or disability, you may be entitled to financial help. This money is called an Attendance Allowance.
How much you get depends on how much help you need. You can still get it if you’re working, because your income isn’t taken into account.
If you receive Attendance Allowance this might open the door to other things like Pension Credit, Housing Benefit and a Council tax reduction.
Perhaps a family member or friend could help you fill in the form? Or you can get free help from Citizens Advice at Canterbury: 01227 452762 Whitstable/Herne Bay: 01227 740647
