Art Exhibition to be hosted in Ramsgate
East Kent Mind is hosting an Art Exhibition at our Ramsgate Office on Wednesday 14th May.
The Exhibition is open from 10am to 4pm and there will be tea/coffee biscuits throughout the day. It takes place at 34 King Street, Ramsgate CT11 8NT.
Any visitors who come along on the day can also see two active groups taking place. Our Chatty Wednesday and Creative Art groups run every week. Chatty Wednesday is from 10.30am until 12.30pm and Creative Art is 2pm until 4pm.
There will be artwork that has been created over the previous year including:
- World famous art replicated
- Neuro-graphic art
- Doodling (Large canvas for everyone to add to the doodle)
- Gratitude and journaling art
- MMM – artwork (diamond art)
- Positive affirmations art
- Finger painting art
- Self – blue plaque designs
- Masks
- Small pieces e.g. cards, shells and stones
Jacqui and Jolene, who are hosting the Art Exhibition, said: “East Kent Mind will be showcasing artwork that has been created by individuals who attended our art groups in East Kent over the last year.
“The aim is to show that anyone can create a masterpiece. We use the creative process to learn, grow and heal together, enhancing our wellbeing, and enabling us to share our stories and express our feelings through art.”
As well as our Ramsgate group, we also run a Creative Art group in Margate that takes place on Fridays (2.30pm until 4.30pm).
