Experience the flow

Come and join the Lord Mayor of Canterbury for Tai Chi in the gardens of stunning Whitstable Castle.

The 60min session will take place at 11am on Sunday, 20 July. Tickets are limited and must be booked in advance.

Tai Chi is a traditional Chinese mind-body practice that involves a series of slow, gentle movements and postures combined with controlled breathing. It originated as a martial art but is now widely practiced for its health and wellness benefits, including stress reduction and improved balance. Because of its historic links to martial arts many karateka also perform Tai Chi.

This event will be delivered by the Chief Training Instructor at Sochin Karate Club, Georges Dussart, who is a 6th Dan black belt with 60 years involvement in the sport.

Funds from the event will benefit East Kent Mind as well as supporting Sochin Karate Club’s This Girl Can campaign to encourage women and teenage girls to take up the sport.
