For Carers Week (June 9-16), Mind in Bexley and East Kent has produced a moving exhibition dedicated to the voices of unpaid carers supporting loved ones with mental health challenges.

The Carers Exhibition has been produced by Mind in Bexley and East Kent’s CEO Dr David Palmer. It gives voices to those too often unheard, and shines a light on an often-hidden crisis. The exhibition is a heartfelt tribute to those who deserve meaningful support that resonate with their lived experience.

Unpaid carers provide vital support to families and communities, yet too often feel overlooked and undervalued. While the UK economy benefits from an estimated £184 billion in unpaid care annually, Carer’s Allowance remains just £83.30 a week.

The information contained in the exhibition is available to download in a smaller A5 version.
