Canterbury Golf Club raised more than £12,000 for East Kent Mind

A huge thank you to everyone who helped Canterbury Golf Club raise an incredible £12,228.27 for East Kent Mind.

The generous fundraising total was presented to East Kent Mind’s Development Lead, Simon Dolby, by Jen Rutherford, Ladies Captain, and Peter Norfolk, Seniors Captain, of Canterbury Golf Club. The club, based at Scotland Hills, Littlebourne Road, Canterbury, chose East Kent Mind as its charity partner, with Jen and Peter joining forces to fundraise for the charity during their captaincy year.

This outstanding donation will help support East Kent Mind’s Wellbeing Ambassador initiative, which focuses on young people aged 16 to 24 at university campuses and colleges. The project provides free training to help young adults support the mental wellbeing of their peers, as well as their own, and also offers volunteering opportunities.
