Award winners named by judging panel
A record number of organisations have been invited to attend the 2024 Kent Mental Wellbeing Awards.
In total 51 initiatives, organisations and teams of people have been named as winners and will attend a celebration in October.
Simon Dolby, awards host and Development Lead at Mind in Bexley and East Kent, the organisation staging the annual event, said: “I am enormously grateful to the judging panel for the tough job in sifting through the hundreds of nominations submitted this year and selecting such a great range of extremely worthy winners.
“All of the winning submissions will feature in our annual wellbeing best practice booklet to help spread best practice.”
All the winning organisations have now been notified of their success and the team are in the process of sending out official Winner Graphics to enable the organisations to share their success.
Once that is completed more than 100 nominees that were named Highly Commended will be notified.
Mr Dolby said: “Please be patient. If you do not see your name listed in the winners’ list below that does not mean the good work of your team or organisation has not been recognised – you could shortly find yourselves awarded Highly Commended status.”
Highly Commended organisations will not be invited to the awards celebration due to a limitation on space.
The event is sponsored by Kent County Council, Kent Community Foundation, ADM Computing, GrainLNG – National Grid, Medway Council, Optyma Security, Wave Community Bank, Cactus Graphics and CommunityAid.
