East Kent Mind Launches New October-December Activities Programme
East Kent Mind has released its latest Activities Programme. It is packed with free courses, groups and workshops designed to support mental health and wellbeing across the region. Running from October to December 2025, the programme offers both in-person and online opportunities. Our activities help people to connect, learn and take positive steps for their mental health.
The programme is structured around the nationally recognised Ways to Wellbeing: Be Active, Keep Learning, Connect, and Take Notice. Research shows that these simple actions can significantly improve wellbeing and help people live happier, more fulfilling lives.
Highlights include:
-
Be Active: including yoga, tai chi, Pilates, wellbeing walks, gardening at the Kent Community Oasis Garden, and drumming and movement sessions.
-
Keep Learning: we have workshops on coping with stress and anxiety, anger management, body image, confidence building, suicide awareness, and creative writing.
- Connect: social groups such as Chatty Tuesday, Creative Art, MenTalk, Cuppa Club, Music for Fun, Women’s Wellness Group, Young Revival and much more.
- Take Notice: creative sessions in journaling, photography, and mindfulness-based practices like meditation and relaxation techniques.
The wide-ranging timetable is designed to give everyone a chance to find something that suits them. Whether people want to build confidence, meet new people, learn new skills, or simply take time out for their own wellbeing, the Activities Programme has something for everyone.
A participant from a previous programme described the impact of East Kent Mind’s activities:
“I believe MIND groups ‘saved me’ and I wouldn’t have made it this far without them. I can’t stress enough how important they are and how they have improved my life.”
Alongside group sessions, East Kent Mind also offers one-to-one support, helping people set and achieve personal goals using the Recovery Star model.
The full programme, including dates, times and venues, is now available to download.
