Sports club announces draw winners

Canterbury Hockey Club staged its prize draw on Saturday 30 Noember to raise funds for East Kent Mind, in memory of student Chris Figgis.

The Deputy Head Boy at Kent College and Canterbury Hockey Club member took his own life. To help support mental health services in the Canterbury district the hockey club held a grand draw organised by Ziggy Ericson. Club President John Maylam began announcing draw winners at 7pm.

Simon Dolby from East Kent said the club house was packed on the night of the charity draw.

He added: “We are so grateful to Ziggy and her team for all the hard work in staging the prize draw.”
