Lord Mayor Keji Moses with Peter Baerwinkel, General Manager, of Hampton by Hilton Canterbury try the Revival Mocktail

Revival Mocktail launched to promote community awards

A Canterbury hotel has launched a non alcoholic cocktail designed to revive the spirit and the senses as part of a series of initiatives to champion the work of its charity of the year.
Hampton by Hilton Canterbury’s new Revival Mocktail will be added to its drinks menu as part of its Dry January campaign which is supported by East Kent Mind.  The hotel has selected the charity as the cause it will support for 2026.
The name of the Mocktail is designed to raise the profile of the charity’s Revival Community Awards, which recognise the unsung heroes of the community, school and workplace. Nominations for the awards can be made until noon on 22 January.
Lord Mayor of Canterbury, Cllr Keji Moses, said: “The New Year is a great opportunity to take on activities that can revive our mind and body, get fitter and rethink what we eat and drink.
“Going dry for January and switching to non alcoholic beverages such as the new Revival Cocktail at the Hampton by Hilton Hotel are a fun and energising way to achieve this.
“I’m so pleased the hotel is working with my Charity of the Year, East Kent Mind, on this initiative and will be supporting the charity over the coming year.”
Peter Baerwinkel, General Manager, Hampton by Hilton Canterbury, said: “We’re thrilled to partner with East Kent Mind in launching our new mocktail, ‘The Revival.’ Our team had great fun creating a drink that not only tastes fantastic but also celebrates the importance of wellbeing in our community. We’re grateful to the Lord Mayor for inspiring this initiative, and we hope every guest who enjoys The Revival feels part of something meaningful.”
