Gallery’s switched-on VIPs raise hundreds for mental health
A Canterbury art gallery has raised funds for East Kent Mind. Castle Fine Art, based in the Burgate, invited 60 guests to attend a Christmas event to co-incide with the city’s festive lights switch-on.
The generous VIPs kept East Kent Mind’s charity collection pot busy during the event raising a whopping £225 for mental health services in the district.
Gallery manager Rebecca Pritchard said she was delighted with the total raised. Simon Dolby from East Kent Mind said: “We are so greatful to Rebecca and her VIPs for thinking of us at this time of year.”
