Society to champion charity’s work on campus and in the community
Students at EKC Canterbury College have created an East Kent Mind Society to help champion the work of the mental health charity.
Led by Ciaran Wylie and Emilia Wraight, they have drawn together students from across the campus for the student society.
The Society will both promote East Kent Mind’s extensive services for students and the wider community, as well as set up friendship and peer support groups on campus, stage information-sharing events and organise fundraisers.
Ciaran and Emilia have both completed the charity’s Ambassador training earning themselves the East Kent Mind Wellbeing Ambassador badge.
