Society to champion charity’s work on campus and in the community

Students at the University of Kent have created an East Kent Mind Society to help champion the work of the mental health charity.

Led by students Rosie Hawkins and Katie Whitewood, the pair are drawing together students from across the campus for the new student society.

The Society will both promote East Kent Mind’s extensive services for students and the wider community, as well as set up friendship and peer support groups on campus, stage information-sharing events and organise fundraisers.

Rosie and Katie have both completed the charity’s Ambassador training earning themselves the East Kent Mind Wellbeing Ambassador badge.
